Kathy Barrens, Chief Financial Officer of The Rawlings Foundation, brings decades of executive leadership across public accounting, corporate finance, and family enterprise. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she began her career at Coopers & Lybrand, earning the highest CPA exam score in Kentucky before advancing to Vice President and Chief Auditor at Providian Corporation. She later spent 27 years at The Rawlings Group, serving as Chief Financial Officer and President of multiple operating units. In addition to her professional leadership, Kathy has faithfully served faith-based and educational institutions through board and finance roles, and at VINE she will offer practical insight on disciplined endowment growth, governance, and building financial foundations that sustain mission for generations.
