About me
Colonel Gordon assumed the duties as the Commandant of Cadets at The Citadel upon his retirement from the United States Marine Corps after 30-years of active service. He returned to his Alma mater to educate and develop the next generation of Principled Leaders. During his 30-year career, Col Gordon commanded at every level in the operating forces. He is a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and has extensive operational experience in the Middle East, Far East, and the Black Sea region. Col Gordon is the author of a best-selling book, Marine Maxims, Turning Principles into Practice.
