About me
Alex Goldfarb joined PermCap in 2014 and currently oversees the firm’s Alternatives portfolios, managing allocations across public and private debt and equity strategies. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring investment opportunities across a broad range of alternative managers and direct investments, with a focus on constructing diversified portfolios that align with client objectives.
Prior to PermCap, Alex worked at Gilder Gagnon Howe & Co., a long/short investment management firm, and Dillon Hill Capital, a single-family office, where he gained experience across both public and private markets.
Alex holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tufts University, where he competed for four years on the Men’s Varsity Basketball Team.
He has also contributed his expertise to institutional initiatives, previously serving on the Investment Committee for Poly Prep Country Day School, where he helped oversee the management of the school’s endowment assets.
