About me
John is an executive leader, innovator, and disrupter focused on flawless execution. He is the co-founder and co-CEO of Stratofied, a financial tech company building the first blockchain-enabled trading and servicing platform for student loan digital assets.
John most recently served as the Vice President, Finance and Accounting and Treasurer at the Heritage Foundation where he focused on organizational strategy, enterprise risk management, resource allocation, and investment oversight. He now leads the values-aligned investing directive at Heritage as a Visiting Fellow, helping to deploy capital as a force multiplier for cultural change. He holds a master’s degree in Financial Planning from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and a bachelor of arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts.
John, a Certified Public Accountant, is also an entrepreneur with a passion for continual improvement. This led him to help launch several ventures, including an outsourced business services firm for churches and Christian ministries.
A Connecticut native, John now lives in Maryland with his family and is an active member of their local church. When not working or spending time with his wife and three children, you’ll likely find him training for a half or full distance Ironman.
